Online Gradebooks

For the 2013-2014 school year, we will be using JupiterGrades to facilitate communication between the teachers, administration, students and parents.  Our teachers will update this system once each week.  Please email your child’s advisor to receive access to this system so you can continually check your child’s grades.

JupiterGrades is located at

Click on login at the bottom right of the screen.

You will need your child’s latest report card or ID card, so you have their OSIS number (9 digits).   The first week of school your child will receive a temporary password for their access.  They will need that to create their own password.

Children will not be inputted into this system until late August.

Hello… I have been reviewing my child’s snapgrades daily. I am not a fan of this system at this time due to the fact that it is not current. I am wondering when will this system become accurate? Are all teachers required to input information? Also, why did I receive an alert that my child was absent a week later? Please let me know if I should even bother with this system anymore since it has done nothing but cause me to argue with my child about missing assignments for classes my child doesn’t even have.

    Thank you

Hi, I am a parent of a 9th grader and I am still waiting to receive a login password and username for both aris and k12. Can someone PLEASE help me obtain this information. I also would like to know why my child still has not been assigned a locker yet and how much longer will it be before she receives one? Thanking you in advance for your prompt response and and continued help and support.

    • Hi Ms. Spivey,

Your child should have been assigned a locker in her 1st period class. If she has gym 1st, then she’ll get a locker in her 2nd period class. This should have happened already. If it has not, please let me know and I will make sure it happens.

I’ll email you the ARIS password. As for K12, I know we’ve been working with them to upload all students. I’ll have Ms. Nancy follow up with you on this as she knows the details of where we are at with K12.

how and where do you get the uniforms from, what to wear on the first day of school

    • Hi Vanessa,
You can get uniform clothing from Skip, our supplier (see most recent blog post), or you can just buy white, royal or navy blue polo shirts or white button down professional shirts at any store (Gap, Cookies, Old Navy, JCPenney, etc.) On the first day of school you should wear school uniform.

    Hi Jaime,

I just found you today on Twitter… which led me to your blog.

My learning center will run after school programs at two Brooklyn middle schools this fall and I want to use an online grade book. I have been looking at Engrade – which so far seems ok (if not ideal for my needs).

Did you have a positive experience with SnapGrades (now JupiterGrades?).
    Do you still use it?

Thanks for any feedback on this.
