Supply List in shopping format

To  make it easier on you to purchase school supplies, we have condensed the teachers’ required supplies into 1 shopping list. 

  • #2 pencils (2 dozen)
  • 1 handheld sharpener
  • Extra lead if they are mechanical pencils
  • Eraser
  • Black or blue pens (3 dozen)
  • Green pens (1 dozen)
  • 1 box highlighters
  • 1 pack colored pencils
  • 2 glue sticks
  • 5 packs 3×5 index cards
  • 4 packs looseleaf paper
  • 1 pack graph paper (with or without holes)
  • 10 composition notebooks
  • 2 pocket sized notebooks
  • 2- 2 inch binders
  • 2 packs of tabbed dividers for the binders
  • 1 pack Post-It notes
  • 3-1 quart Ziploc bags
  • 1 ruler with metric and inches
  • 1 pack of construction paper
  • 4 pocket folders
  • Pocket Oxford Hachette French dictionary (buy from Barnes & Noble or Amazon)
  • $15 for French books you will keep
  • Queens Collegiate PE t-shirt (order from Skip)
  • Navy shorts (purchase on your own, must go to the knees)
  • $11 for a lock for the lockers
  • Sneakers, socks
  • Gym bag to carry items, including appropriate hygiene items for gym use
  • graphing calculator TI-83, TI-83 plus, TI-84, TI-84 plus or TInspire (optional for math, keep at home)

 Geometry students need all of the above plus:

  • Compass & Protractor

    When can we expect the updated school supply list? Also what’s the date and time for both Student and Parent Orientation?

    • Hi Ms. Spivey, Thanks for your comment. The updated list is posted, and will continue to be updated within the next week or so. I’m hoping to finalize hiring by Friday (cross your fingers! 🙂

      Student orientation is 9/2 from 10-12. I can get you information on parent orientation on Wednesday, when I am back in the office.
